After 25 years working on sets and stages, I've learnt to appreciate every moving part of a production.

Getting a story onto a screen, a production onto a stage, or a conversation into the world involves far more collaboration, problem-solving and boxes to tick than most people ever see.

There are budgets and schedules.

People and personalities.

Ideas that change.

Problems that appear out of nowhere.

And, inevitably, a few things that absolutely refuse to go according to plan.

I love to conceptualise the big picture, delve deep until the true bones of the story reveals itself, and then build a team of experts to bring it to life.
